Active Methodologies
The following Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) methodologies are active in the VCS Program. Projects may use them when registering a project in Verra’s VCS Program if the projects comply with all VCS Program rules and requirements and if their activities are eligible in the VCS Program (see Table 1 of the latest version of the VCS Standard for a list of excluded activities).

- Mitigation Outcome Labels – Labels may be applied to differentiate between Verified Carbon Units (VCUs) based on greenhouse gas emission reductions and VCUs based on carbon dioxide removals.
