This training session will provide stakeholders with an overview of the following program updates that were introduced in VCS Version 5, and the templates that are required to report on them:

• V5#14 (right to operate and right to reductions and removals)
• V5#16 (stakeholder engagement requirements)
• V5#17 (safeguards requirements)
• V5#23 (ecosystem conversion safeguards)
• V5#58 (financial transparency for benefit sharing)

This content will be relevant for project proponents and validation/verification bodies that are preparing project requests that will be submitted to Verra after January 1, 2027, for projects with a project start date on or after January 1, 2027.
