Verra has published a checklist (.xlsx) for proponents who are developing a project under VM0050 Energy Efficiency and Fuel-Switch Measures in Cookstoves, v1.0 and for the projects’ validation/verification bodies. The checklist includes a list of key elements that Verra staff focus on when reviewing a request for registration, verification, or joint registration-verification.

Verra is sharing this checklist to support these users in understanding the methodology and strengthening the documentation they are preparing to submit to Verra.

Please note that it is not an exhaustive list of elements Verra considers during a project review. Additional aspects will be taken into account based on project-specific conditions.

In cases where there are any discrepancies between the checklist and the methodology, the methodology requirements contained in the VM0050, v1.0 document, including any and all corrections and clarifications, shall take precedence.

Verra intends to release similar resources for other methodologies over the coming months.
