7. Transport

The CDM methodology AMS-III.BM.: Lightweight two- and three-wheeled personal transportation (external) applies to project activities that shift urban passenger transport to mechanical bicycles, tricycles, e-bikes, or e-tricycles by developing supporting infrastructure, such as bike lanes, shared bike programs (dockless or station-based), and bicycle parking areas.

This methodology revision expands the scope of AMS-III.BM. to include other two- or three-wheeled e-vehicles such as e-motorcycles and e-scooters. The revision also includes business-oriented delivery services involving goods, food, or other tangible items.

This methodology is globally applicable.

Please note:

  • VMR0013 replaces AMS-III.BM., which has been inactivated under the VCS Program.
  • Projects seeking to complete registration or crediting period renewal under AMS-III.BM., v2.0 must request registration or crediting period renewal by December 17, 2025.
