10. Fugitive emissions from fuels
Verra has inactivated this methodology in accordance with Section 5 of the VCS Methodology Development and Review Process v4.4 (PDF). See the announcement for more details.
The methodology quantifies GHG emission reductions from activities which capture, use, and destroy methane emitted from coal bed seeps. Project activities involve constructing a gas interception system to collect and aggregate gas that would otherwise result in fugitive methane emissions.
