Summary of Development
On April 1, 2026, the development of this revision was archived per the VCS Methodology Development and Review Process (PDF). The primary purpose of the proposal was to incorporate a mechanism to explicitly differentiate and quantify net GHG emission reductions and net carbon dioxide removals under VM0034 Canadian Forest Carbon Offset Methodology. This capability already exists under the tool VT0015 Calculation of Reductions and Removals for VM0003, VM0005, VM0012, and VM0034.
