The proposed methodology applies to project activities that capture associated gas from oil and gas operations that would otherwise be flared and redirect it to on-site energy generation systems, such as gas-fired generators or turbines.
Summary of Development
On March 26, 2026 the development of this methodology was archived per the VCS Methodology Development and Review Process (PDF) due to overlap with M0376, Revison to AM0009, Recovery and utilization of gas from oil fields that would otherwise be flared or vented.
