Verra Publishes CORSIA Insurance Criteria Checklist 

Verra has released a CORSIA insurance criteria checklist (PDF) to enable the efficient processing of requests for CORSIA-eligible labels. Use of this checklist ensures that insurance policies selected by project proponents comply with the Verra CORSIA Eligible Label Insurance Criteria (PDF) and the Verra CORSIA Accounting Representation Deeds.

Project proponents are required to include a completed copy of the checklist with any CORSIA-eligible label request that uses the insurance route. Proponents must demonstrate that Verified Carbon Units (VCUs) are backed by an approved insurance product in cases where evidence of a completed corresponding adjustment is not yet available.

Where a request includes multiple insurance policies, a separate checklist must be submitted for each policy.
