On Wednesday, October 25, at 11:00 am ET, Verra hosted a webinar that provided an overview of its Sustainable Development Verified Impact Standard (SD VISta) Program.
The SD VISta Program certifies the real-world benefits of social and environmental projects, from gender equity and economic development to affordable clean energy and restoration of wildlife. By providing developers and investors with reliable data on the social and environmental benefits of their projects, the program drives finance to these projects.
During the webinar, the SD VISta team ran through important program details, including key requirements for project developers and an overview of the assessment process. They also shared information on the three types of outputs available to projects registered with the SD VISta Program: claims, labels, and assets.
