Verra has released its Grievance Redress Process v2.0 (PDF), which replaces the Grievance Redress Policy, v1.2. The updated process will enable more efficient, transparent, and predictable processing of concerns (i.e., grievances) raised with Verra.
Under the new process, Verra will receive grievances via a Grievance Intake Form, which is available in the Verra Project Hub. The form clearly outlines all the required information and allows for streamlined processing of submissions.
The new Grievance Redress Process (GRP) clarifies the following:
- Verra’s role in the handling of grievances
- The scope of the GRP, by defining and expressly setting out the categories of matters included in the process
- Mandatory information required for submitting a grievance
- Potential decisions and outcomes of the process
To further support stakeholders seeking to submit a grievance, Verra has prepared a flowchart that outlines each step (available by clicking the Help button in the Verra Project Hub), from submission through resolution.
