As Senior Director of Program Development, Sinclair oversees the direction and evolution of Verra’s suite of programs, including the Verified Carbon Standard, Sustainable Development Verified Impact Standard, Climate, Community & Biodiversity Standards, and Plastic Waste Reduction Standard Programs. Sinclair also leads the market development for Verra’s sustainable development programs, including corporate, commercial, and government engagement to ensure these programs help users set and meet increasingly ambitious climate and sustainable development goals.

In previous roles at Verra, Sinclair worked on the Initiative for Climate Action Transparency (ICAT) and managed the VCS project review process. Most recently, Sinclair led the development of Verra’s SD VISta Nature Framework, a methodology for measuring and quantifying biodiversity outcomes.

Prior to joining Verra, Sinclair worked at Enviance, conducting Scope 3 greenhouse gas (GHG) industry analyses and developing business strategies for GHG reporting.

Sinclair earned a Master’s degree in Environmental Science and Management from the Bren School at the University of California Santa Barbara, where she focused on Corporate Environmental Management and Pollution Prevention and Remediation. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from the University of Florida.
