Manish Neupane

As Director, Sustainable Development Programs, Manish oversees the management of the Sustainable Development Verified Impact Program (SD VISta) and the Climate, Community & Biodiversity (CCB) Program. Manish manages the project review process to ensure the credibility and quality of the projects while providing guidance and support to the internal team, project developers, third-party auditors, and other stakeholders. He maintains integrity and professionalism in operating these programs and the projects moving through the system.

Manish has more than 13 years of professional experience in the sustainability sector. Before joining Verra, Manish managed the assurance program at Better Cotton, which included assessments and licensing, managing third-party verifiers, and improving internal assurance systems and processes. Before Better Cotton, Manish worked in the global procurement and supply chain of energy-efficient products and technologies.

Manish holds a M.Sc. in Environmental Monitoring, Modelling, and Management from Kings College, London, and a B.Sc. in Business Information Technology. He lives in London and enjoys reading, hiking, and music in his spare time.
