Heather Barton

As Director, Global HR – Workforce Architecture, Heather leads key components of Verra’s people strategy by shaping the systems, frameworks, and practices that support a highperforming and engaged workforce. She partners closely with Verra staff and organizational leaders to strengthen core HR capabilities, enhance employee experience, and ensure alignment between workforce planning, organizational needs, and longterm strategic goals.

Heather brings 20 years of human resources and talent management experience across multiple industries. Before joining Verra, she led talent initiatives within the technology sector at Wayfair, helping to build scalable and inclusive people practices. Prior to that, she oversaw recruitment for a digital agency specializing in mobile application development, supporting rapid growth and evolving workforce needs.

Heather holds a BBA in Marketing and Human Resource Development from James Madison University, as well as a certification in Compensation, Talent Acquisition, and DEI. She lives in Richmond, Virginia, with her husband, four teenagers, and four dogs.
