Gina Schell
Director, Board Governance
As Director of Board Governance, Gina supports the Verra Board and is responsible for ensuring effective and efficient governance functions and managing special projects.
Gina came to Verra after a long tenure working with the Innovative Finance team at Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, where she provided support to both the Director for Innovative Finance and the Board of Directors for the International Financing Facility for Immunisation. She was responsible for meeting coordination, event planning, budget and contract management, and leading and developing project management processes. In addition, Gina has a strong communications background working with corporate and nonprofit clients managing projects destined for film, television, print, and digital media platforms.
Gina holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations specializing in globalization and human security and a master’s degree from the University of London in refugee protection and forced migration.
