Listing Request Deadline for Plastic Projects

Verra would like to inform stakeholders of a new listing request deadline for projects seeking registration with the Plastic Waste Reduction Program.

For projects with a start date between January 1, 2016, and December 31, 2021, proponents must request listing by January 31, 2024. Verra will not accept listing requests after this date. The proponents of projects with a start date before December 31, 2021, must complete validation and request registration of these projects by June 30, 2024. For projects with a start date on or after January 1, 2022, proponents must still complete validation within two years of the project start date, per Section 3.5.3 of the Plastic Standard, v1.0 (PDF).
