This methodology quantifies the GHG emission reductions and removals generated from both REDD and ARR activities. It addresses localized dirvers that lead to mosaic forest degradation and deforestation with a specific focus on India and the South Asian region. It also gives project developers different options to use data that is already available from sources such as nationally accepted forest maps, census and Forest Working Plans (WP) to lower costs of monitoring.
