CDM methodology AMS-III.C.: Emission Reductions by Electric and Hybrid Vehicles (external) quantifies GHG emission reductions from project activities that introduce new electric and/or hybrid vehicles to displace the use of fossil fuel vehicles in passenger and freight transportation.
This revision expands the applicability of the methodology to include electric mobile machinery (EMM), such as building and construction machines. EMM includes both battery-electric mobile machinery and plug-in hybrid electric mobile machinery.
The methodology is globally applicable.

- VMR0014 replaces AMS-III.C., which has been inactivated as a standalone methodology under the VCS Program.
- Projects seeking to complete registration under AMS-III.C., v16.0 must complete validation by July 2, 2026.
