VMR0011 is a revision to the CDM methodology AMS-I.E.: Switch from non-renewable biomass for thermal applications by the user (external), which applies to project activities that switch from non-renewable biomass for thermal applications by the user. VMR0011 fixes at validation a leakage adjustment factor that accounts for the uncertainty of the fraction of non-renewable biomass and must be used in conjunction with the latest version of AMS-I.E.

Grace Period:
- As of October 9, 2024, VM0050 has replaced VMR0006 and VMR0011.
- Projects seeking to complete registration under VMR0011, v1.0 must have requested listing on the Verra Registry before October 9, 2024, and complete validation by May 31, 2025.
- Please note, on July 2, 2024, AMS-I.E. was excluded as a standalone methodology. Projects seeking to complete registration under AMS-I.E. as a standalone methodology must have requested listing on the Verra Registry before July 2, 2024, and complete validation by January 2, 2025.
