M0379
CDM methodology ACM0019 applies to project activities that reduce N₂O emissions by introducing secondary or tertiary N₂O abatement technologies in nitric acid manufacturing plants. The proposed revision of ACM0019, v4.0, includes updates to enhance the accuracy of the crediting baseline.
Summary of Development
- The methodology was proposed by Carbon Climate Protection GmbH under an older version of the VCS Methodology Development and Review Process (MDRP) (PDF).
- In March 2025, the development of this methodology was put on hold.
- In March 2026, Verra reassessed the priority of methodologies under development and decided to keep this proposal on hold.
- Verra will reassess whether to resume the development of this methodology in Q3 2027.
