The proposed revision to ACM0010 expands its applicability to projects that avoid methane (CH4) emissions using alternative technologies to anaerobic digestion, including vermifiltration. A second modification would allow the inclusion of avoided N2O emissions in the ERR.

On March 26, 2026, the development of this methodology was archived per the VCS Methodology Development and Review Process (PDF) due overlap with M0443, a consolidated manure management methodology.
