The proposed methodology applies to project activities that use additives designed to reduce or prevent GHG emissions during the storage of liquid manure. The proposed methodology is globally applicable and allows different types of chemical additives or adsorbents.

On March 26, 2026, the development of this methodology was archived per the VCS Methodology Development and Review Process (PDF) due to the following reasons:
- Broader internal strategies related to a consolidated manure management methodology (See ID M0443).
