The proposed methodology applies to efficient liquified petroleum gas (LPG) cookstoves that displace non-renewable biomass or other fossil fuel-fired cookstoves. The proposed methodology is globally applicable.
SUMMARY OF DEVELOPMENT
The methodology idea note was rejected by Verra, as per Section 3.1.6(3) of the VCS Methodology Development and Review Process, 4.2 (PDF). The proposal overlaps with the new methodology currently being developed, M0174 Methodology for Improved Thermal Energy Generation Units.
