Inactive 30 September 2025
Verra has inactivated the CDM TOOL32 under the VCS Program. Verra may include simplified procedures to demonstrate additionality into revised VCS methodologies.
Please Note:
- Projects using TOOL32 v4.0 in combination with ACM0001 Flaring or use of landfill gas, v19.0 or AMS-III.G. Landfill methane recovery, v10.0 must have been listed as “under validation” on the Verra Registry by 21 November 2025 and must submit a registration request by 31 May 2026.
- All other new projects using TOOL32 v4.0 must have concluded validation and submitted a registration request by 30 September 2025.
- The C&C issued on 18 March 2025 has been updated on 21 November 2025 following Verra’s review of TOOL32. See the Clarification to TOOL32 (PDF).
