3. Energy demand
This methodology comprises activities that involve the installation of new, energy-efficient equipment (e.g. lamps, ballasts, refrigerators, motors, fans, air conditioners, pumping systems, and chillers) at one or more project sites. Retrofit as well as new construction (Greenfield) projects are included under this methodology. In the case of new construction projects, a stepwise approach is indicated for determining the baseline under paragraph 19 of version 17.0 of the General guidelines for SSC CDM methodologies.
