Verra is establishing an Enhanced Weathering and Mineralization (EWM) Advisory Group (AG) and invites interested stakeholders to apply.
The EWM AG will be a strategic resource for the development of an EWM initiative in the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) Program by evaluating its readiness, merits, and risks and its potential acceptance in carbon markets.
Details about the EWM AG’s scope, qualifications, criteria for participation, and application instructions are in the Call for Expressions of Interest: Enhanced Weathering and Mineralization Advisory Group (PDF). The deadline for applying is 6 January 2023.
Verra intends to select EWM AG group members by mid-January 2023 and hold the first meeting in February.
