Description: Verra-hosted roundtable at Treehouse, this invitation-only roundtable will explore how to finance the local capacity and support systems that enable Indigenous Peoples and local communities to participate effectively and equitably in REDD+ and other nature-based carbon projects. Bringing together leaders from Indigenous organizations, philanthropy, finance, and the private sector, the discussion will focus on practical investments in legal empowerment, community-centered technical expertise, trusted local intermediaries, and other lasting support systems needed to strengthen participation, advance project integrity, and build more durable nature markets.
