WASHINGTON – Jun. 23, 2026 | Verra has announced a new, multi-year partnership with ServiceNow and Docusign to bring AI-enabled customer service and streamlined contract workflows to its systems, improving access, speed, and efficiency, while helping to scale up climate action worldwide.
The partnership is valued at more than USD $1 million, and combines technology grants, pro bono support, and unrestricted funding. It marks a significant step forward in Verra’s broader digital transformation strategy, focused on enhancing stakeholder experience.
At the center of the collaboration is the implementation of a new, organization-wide customer service management platform powered by ServiceNow, alongside integrated document execution and other contract workflow capabilities supported by the Docusign Intelligent Agreement Management (IAM) platform. Together, these solutions will centralize the way Verra engages with stakeholders, streamline key processes, and introduce AI-enabled tools that improve response times, consistency, and visibility across interactions.
Implementation of this solution is being led by The Process Play, an advisory-led ServiceNow specialist focused on enterprise workflow transformation, service experience, and the design of scalable, AI-enabled operating models, and LeverX, a trusted ServiceNow partner that implements and scales enterprise ServiceNow solutions to streamline service operations. These enhancements are expected to make it easier for project developers to engage with Verra’s programs, reduce friction in key processes, and support the faster registration of high-impact climate and sustainable development projects.

Vanessa Smith, chief corporate affairs officer, ServiceNow, said: “Solving the world’s most complex problems requires collaboration. That’s why partnerships like this one matter. With Docusign and Verra and our implementation partners, we’re bringing together workflow automation, AI-enabled service delivery, document automation, and deep implementation expertise in service of one goal: making it faster and easier to move climate projects from idea to impact. That’s what collective action looks like in practice.”
Erica Fensom, vice president of corporate affairs, Docusign, said: “At Docusign, we believe in the power of agreements and collaboration to bring people together, build trust, and create lasting change. We’re excited to support Verra’s vital work in driving standards that support transitions to a sustainable future. Together with ServiceNow, Docusign IAM helps streamline operations, enhance customer experiences with AI-powered integrations, and accelerate agreements for a more resilient planet.”
Alex Reilly-Jones, chief customer officer and co-founder, The Process Play, said: “Verra’s mission is critically important, and we are proud to support it through this transformation. By modernizing stakeholder workflows and introducing AI-enabled service capabilities, this innovative platform will help create a more seamless, responsive, and scalable experience for those engaging with Verra’s standards around the world.”
