Tool for Soil Sampling, Processing, and Analyzing Soil Organic Carbon Stock Changes

The proposed tool enables the standardization of procedures for land stratification, physical soil sampling, and laboratory analyses to ensure consistency in determining soil organic carbon (SOC) stock changes. The tool can be used with agricultural land management VCS methodologies that quantify SOC stock changes, such as VM0042 Methodology for Improved Agriculture Land Management.

Verra has decided to integrate the proposed content from this tool into the major revision of VM0042 (M0264).
