Methodology for Flare Gas Mitigation

The proposed methodology applies to project activities that capture associated gas from oil and gas operations that would otherwise be flared and redirect it to on-site energy generation systems, such as gas-fired generators or turbines.

The methodology idea note was submitted by Reverence and is currently at “Step 1: Methodology Idea Note Submission” of the VCS Methodology Development and Review Process (PDF).
