Projects Open for Public Comment: October 6, 2025

To ensure the transparency and rigor of our standards programs, Verra invites comments from the public on whether projects seeking to register in one or more of Verra’s standards programs meet the requirements of that program. Comments received by Verra will be published to the project record on the Verra Registry and must be considered by the project proponent.

The public comment periods for the following projects opened during the week of September 29.

To submit a comment, click on the hyperlink for the respective project and enter your feedback in the “Public Comment” box on the project page on the Verra Registry.

• TVS Motor Company Electric Vehicle Project in India – closes October 1
• Carbon Smart Farming Initiative – closes October 24
• Oyu – Green Growth Uganda – closes October 24
• Guizhou Longfeng CMM Power Generation Project – closes October 25
• Henan Juji CMM Power Generation Project – closes October 25
• RMC Recovery and Destruction of Canadian ODS Project – closes October 26
• Forteko afforestation on degraded grasslands under extensive grazing – closes October 26
• Timor-Leste Mangrove Restoration Project (VCS) – closes October 29
• Timor-Leste Mangrove Restoration Project (CCB) – closes October 29
• Shaanxi Fuyuan Dangjiahe CMM Power Generation Project – closes October 30

To see a list of all projects that are currently open for public comment, please visit the Verra Registry and do the following:

1. Select a Standard Program from the Registry homepage.
2. Select the “Open Comment Period” tab.
3. Click “Search” in the left column to populate all projects currently open for public comment.
4. If you know the project name, you can add it to the “Name” field in the left column prior to pressing search.
