The Working Forest Newspaper published an article covering Verra’s announcement to update and strengthen the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS)  Program and the Jurisdictional and Nested REDD+ (JNR) framework. These updates, coming in 2021, will help ensure that carbon finance is channeled toward critical forest conservation and restoration work by following best practices and new scientific findings.
