Bettye Hill

Bettye Hill serves as the Senior Director of Human Resources at Verra, where she leads the HR Department and ensures that HR strategies are aligned with the organization’s short-term and long-term goals. She is passionate about contributing to Verra’s mission-driven work, which has a meaningful impact on the planet.

With over 20 years of experience in human resources and employment law, Bettye has developed and implemented HR functions across both small and large global organizations. Her expertise spans multiple industries and functional areas.

A strong advocate for continuous learning, Bettye has taught Human Resource Management and Law as an adjunct professor at various universities. She has also served on the boards of several nonprofit organizations throughout her career. As a sought-after guest speaker, Bettye shares her insights on human resources, legal, and compliance topics. She is also a professional coach, dedicated to helping individuals reach their full potential.

Bettye holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Texas State University, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Our Lady of the Lake University, a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from St. Mary’s University School of Law, and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) with concentrations in Labor & Employment Law and International & Comparative Law from the University of San Diego. She is an active member of the Texas Bar.
