This methodology calculates the GHG emission reductions from substituting ethanol in place of gasoline or gasoline blends in commercial fleets of flex-fuel vehicles. Projects must demonstrate credible historical fuel consumption data for the commercial fleets. Newly purchased flex-fuel vehicles may not be included. The flex-fuel vehicles must consume E100 ethanol for at least 95 percent of the fuel consumed per fleet. Fuel consumption is monitored for each vehicle included within the fleets.
