The proposed tool quantifies aboveground biomass by combining multi-spectral optical imagery and spaceborne LiDAR (Light Detection And Ranging) remote sensing data. The tool enables continuous monitoring of forest carbon stock in a large area and can be used with AFOLU methodologies to measure the baseline and growth of carbon stock.
