Methodology for On- and Off-Road Mobile Electric Vehicle and Equipment Charging

The proposed methodology applies to project activities involving a fuel switch in transportation activities. Emission reductions are achieved by utilizing zero-emission electricity (from solar assets via a book-and-claim process of renewable energy certificates) or grid electricity (emission factor determined through eGRID or similar tools) to displace gasoline and diesel in commercial transportation activities.

The development of the proposed methodology will not proceed, as per Section 3.1.6(3) of the Methodology Development and Review Process, 4.2 (PDF). The project activities are covered by other methodologies.
