Methodology for Management of Livestock Waste for the Production of Renewable Energy and Heat

The proposed methodology applies to projects that transport, and process livestock manure at central treatment plants into recovered biogas. Eligible end uses for the biogas include destruction through flaring or combustion, or utilization. The proposed methodology is globally applicable.

Verra received several other proposals related to this type of project activities and decided to consolidate the changes and to incorporate the clarifications and corrections issued to AM0073 under a new version of this methodology. The proposed revision will proceed as part of M0313 Revision to AM0073: Multi-site manure collection and treatment in a central plant.
