Scott Greenberg has amassed over 15 years of extensive experience in nonprofit, arts, and corporate marketing and public relations. At Verra he serves as Senior Director of our integrated marketing practice, where he is responsible for guiding all strategic initiatives related to marketing, advertising, creative, brand, reputation, and digital experience.

Prior to joining Verra, Scott shaped bold and experiential marketing and communications strategies for high-growth Fortune 500 companies and nonprofit organizations. Some of the notable entities he worked with include HITT Contracting, The Washington Ballet, The National Cherry Blossom Festival, DC JazzFest, Capitol Riverfront BID, The Nature Conservancy, Monticello, Halcyon (a social impact accelerator), Georgetown Heritage (in partnership with the National Park Service), and more.

Scott’s diverse marketing expertise extends “from tutus to hardhats” and everything in between. Most recently, Scott served as the integrated marketing director at HITT Contracting, a $4.5 billion national general contractor, where he successfully led the launch of their new website and digital strategy. He also took the helm of comprehensive internal and external communications, advertising, social media management, marketing, public relations, and crisis management efforts.

Prior to his role at HITT Contracting, Scott played a pivotal role in transforming and advancing the marketing and sales program at The Washington Ballet. During its 75th anniversary year, he set numerous institutional records, marking a significant milestone in the organization’s history. Scott’s contributions also extended to leading the nonprofit and arts marketing vertical at Sage Communications. In this capacity, he provided innovative and tailored marketing solutions to support numerous clients, fostering growth, raising awareness, and achieving impactful results across various sectors.

Currently, Scott serves as an advisory board member for The Thomas Jefferson Foundation at Monticello, where he offers valuable insights into market strategies and audience engagement. He has a creative writing degree in English from Florida State University and attended The Florida International University College of Law.
