Santhosh Prakasam
Director, Verra Registry
As Director of the Verra Registry within the Program Management Department, Santhosh Prakasam brings a wealth of experience to Verra, having served at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) for over 14 years. During his tenure at UNFCCC, he worked on different areas such as process/system improvements, implementation of projects, data management and reporting, project management and innovation. In his most recent role, he successfully managed the Registration and Accreditation Management team within the Conference Affairs division. Before joining UNFCCC, Santhosh gained valuable experience working with renowned technology companies such as SAP Labs India Pvt. Ltd. and Infosys Technologies Limited.
Santhosh has a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, and a Master’s from BITS Pilani. He has recently pursued postgraduate education in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, staying at the forefront of technological advancements.
Santhosh lives in Germany, is a technology enthusiast and loves nature, mountains, and outdoors activities. He also enjoys sports and has recently taken an interest in badminton.
