Senior Program Officer, Auditing and Accreditation
As a Senior Program Officer, Auditing and Accreditation, Sakshi is responsible for supporting the selection, planning, conducting and implementation of performance observation audits of Validation and Verification Bodies and also contributing to the development of standard operating procedures in the auditing and accreditation team processes.
Sakshi is an environmental and sustainable professional with over 8 years of working experience in forestry certification programs FSC and PEFC, national and international accreditations, quality and compliance audits, and technical review of carbon projects.
Prior to joining Verra, Sakshi worked with SustainCERT where she reviewed various carbon projects related to Energy and Waste and also contributed to the improvement of the certification procedures, guidelines, and rules. She has experience in establishing and maintaining the quality management system in line with the policies and requirements of different standards.
Sakshi is based in New Delhi, India and holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with honors. Away from work, she enjoys nature, spending quality time with family, listening to music, and exploring new places.
