Priyanka Garg

In her role as a Senior Program Officer, Natural Climate Solutions, Priyanka is responsible for reviewing project documentation and working closely with project stakeholders to ensure the quality of projects requesting registration and VCU issuance with Verra programs, collaborating internally to report on project quality and VVB performance. She also serves as a subject matter expert within the Program Management Department on natural climate solutions (NCS) projects, providing input on revisions to the VCS rules and procedures, and helping to maintain the robustness, workability, and impact of the VCS Program.

Before joining Verra, Priyanka worked as a Senior Technical Specialist at South Pole. In that role, she was responsible for the coordination and drafting of Project Design Documents (PDD) and Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) documents for different Nature-based Solutions projects in Africa and South Asia region. She has also worked at The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) as consultant in land resources department for a year.

Priyanka resides in New Delhi, India, and holds a Master of Science in Biodiversity and Conservation from the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. In her spare time, she likes singing, traveling, and spending leisure time with her family.
