Nayan Jyoti Deka

Nayan Jyoti Deka is a tactful and self-motivated climate change enthusiast with 16 years of extensive experience in handling climate change projects. In the past, he has worked on CDM and GS projects while employed in SustainCert, VNV Advisory Services, ESPL, and SGS India Ltd. In these roles, he contributed to more than 200 climate change projects as an Auditor and Consultant. Nayan has has also worked in the telecommunications and pharmaceutical industries, namely at Cipla, ATC Communications, and BIL.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Assam Engineering College and a Master’s degree in Energy Technology from Tezpur University, Assam, India.
Nayan lives in Assam (home to the One Horned Rhino) in the northeastern part of India. He loves traveling, watching suspense movies, and playing football during his free time.
