As Manager, Technology Solutions, Mohan works closely with the rest of the teams in Verra in researching, developing, and implementing innovative technological tools to enable automated processing of data, the registration of projects, issuance of credits, and developing the digitalized approaches to GHG measurement, reporting, and verification.

Prior to joining Verra, Mohan worked as an Engineering Technologist in the City of Toronto, where he managed spatial and attribute data pertaining to Street Furniture and automated processing of transportation-related data collected through Bluetooth sensors across the city. Prior to his position in the City of Toronto, Mohan worked as a Forester, Program Manager and Consultant in various organizations including DEPROSC-Nepal and UNICEF where he worked directly in designing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating multidimensional projects related to Leasehold Forestry, Livelihoods Improvement, Poverty Alleviation, Water and Sanitation, Emergency Preparedness and Disaster Risk Reduction.

Mohan holds a Master of Science Degree in Geo-information Science and Earth Observation with Specialization in Forestry for Sustainable Development from International Institute for Geo-information Science and Earth Observation, Enschede, The Netherlands, and a post-graduate diploma in Geographic Information Systems – Applications Specialist from Sir Sandford Fleming College of Applied Arts and Technology, Ontario, Canada.
