MJ Sorenson
Program Officer
As Program Officer for the Program Secretariat team, MJ assists day-to-day management and processing that includes managing the secretariat inbox, assigning inquiries, project requests, corresponding with stakeholders and working on project reviews as well as improving and managing our database (Suite CRM). In addition, MJ manages tracking systems, including CRM, the project tracker, and all other data.
Before joining Verra, MJ worked at The Conservation Fund, a land conservation organization, where she was a part of the Development Team and the Systems Team. MJ’s previous title was Database Associate, managing gift processing, data management, and donor support.
MJ holds a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies and a minor in Spanish from Texas Tech University. MJ is originally from Paraguay and currently resides in New Jersey.
