As Administrator for the Program Development and Innovation Team, Michelle optimizes efficiency for the team by coordinating operations such as human resources, budget management, communications, and contract management. Michelle also acts as the liaison for the Program Development and Innovation Team to help ensure integration within the organization at large, and to streamline communication with external stakeholders.
Michelle has more than five years of experience managing global operations for non-profits. In Australia, Michelle was the Operations and Program Expansion Manager for the Project AWARE Foundation (now the PADI AWARE Foundation), which drives local action for global ocean conservation, working closely with the scuba diving community. Michelle led efforts driving community engagement and operational expansion for underwater citizen science programs such as marine debris collection. As part of her work there, Michelle drove the expansion of the organization’s activity throughout Asia, including the setup of a charitable entity in China. Most recently, Michelle taught English at the London School of English in Taranto, Italy.
Michelle holds a master’s degree in Environmental Management from the University of Queensland in Australia, and a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the Reichman University in Israel.
