Krista Ciaccio

As Program Officer, Program Secretariat, Krista works closely with colleagues across the organization, and in particular with the Program Team. She assists in managing the Secretariat inbox, as well as project and inquiry tracking systems, including CRM.

Krista’s previous experience includes interning with a marine conservation NGO in Greece, where she assisted the Scientific Director with research and communication support primarily focused on seagrass conservation. Prior to this, Krista worked in pharmaceutical manufacturing, where she became adept in rigorous procedural, documentation, and review practices.

Krista holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of New Hampshire, where she conducted her honors thesis on maternal investment in carpenter bees and completed additional coursework in conservation and ecology. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, art, and being outdoors.
