Kaley Cross is a talented sustainability professional with a diverse and impactful career spanning various roles across different industries. She has worked with more than one hundred companies in the consumer-packaged goods market to develop and implement sustainability strategies and certified several Certified B Corporations using the B Impact Assessment.

Kaley is a proud graduate of North Carolina State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree, and Lenoir-Rhyne University, where she earned a Master of Science degree. She was inspired to pursue a career in sustainability after she attended her first sustainability conference in 2016.

Currently, Kaley is supporting the development of Verra’s Plastic Program and a global plastic accounting and circular economy framework. She also serves as the education lead for B Local Triangle and volunteers with Circular Triangle to bring together sustainability professionals in the Research Triangle Park region of North Carolina.

Prior to joining Verra, Kaley led the Corporate Sustainability team for rePurpose Global, a plastic action platform for CPG brands. She also consulted for Burt’s Bees on their Zero Waste to Landfill strategy. Kaley’s passion and dedication to thinking globally but acting locally have allowed her to translate very technical frameworks and strategies into bite-sized actions for small to medium-sized enterprises.
