As Manager, Energy and Industrial Innovation, Jordan is responsible for advancing Verra’s innovation strategy in the energy and industrial sectors. In this capacity, he explores and evaluates opportunities to accelerate market access to clean energy and to scale up innovative emission removal and reduction activities in the energy and industrial space.

Prior to joining Verra, Jordan spent eight years working on market-based climate action programs for the Government of British Columbia. There he worked on emissions benchmarking for B.C.’s industrial carbon pricing scheme, led offset protocol and policy development with the goal of expanding B.C.’s Offset program, and led compliance promotion and policy implementation for the Low Carbon Fuel Standard. Before this, in what seems like another life, Jordan had a career as a professional chef and worked in a host of high-end restaurants, hotel kitchens and remote camps.

He is a registered professional Agrologist, holds a M.Sc. In Environment and Management from Royal Roads University and is very grateful to live in Victoria, B.C., Canada with his family.
