Farhan Ahmed
Chief Program Management Officer
As Chief Program Management Officer, Farhan leads the Program Management Department, which operates the VCS, SD VISta, CCB, and Plastic Waste Reduction Programs.
Farhan brings over 20 years of leadership, strategy, and operations management experience that spans several countries. He has held senior management and executive positions in prominent standard-setting and certification organizations.
Farhan joined Verra from Fair Trade USA, where he led the development and implementation of its certification programs. Before Fair Trade USA, Farhan held leadership roles at organizations across Asia, the Middle East, and North America, including Bureau Veritas Group and RINA.
Farhan holds a mechanical engineering degree. He lives in Houston, Texas with his wife and four children.
