Manager, Events and External Initiatives
As Manager, Events and External Initiatives, Christina (Tina) coordinates and manages the attendance of Verra staff at external conferences and events, researches new engagement opportunities, and builds Verra’s events strategy. Furthermore, Tina manages Verra’s participation and engagement with associations in the sector and other external initiatives.
Before joining Verra, Tina worked for UNEP and the UNFCCC, as well as with NGOs and in the private sector, in event management, communication, and program coordination roles. Tina has experience working at the UNFCCC COPs, and other UN plenary sessions focused on climate change and biodiversity, as well as a host of other events.
Tina holds a master’s degree in Cultural Sciences from Leuphana University in Germany and an honor’s (BA) in Development Studies from UNISA in South Africa.
