Cassandra Schostek
Manager, VCS Program Methodologies
As Manager, VCS Program Methodologies, Cassandra (Cassie) is responsible for supporting the development of VCS methodologies, with a focus on technological and industrial climate solutions.
Prior to joining Verra, Cassie worked with the Alberta Energy Regulator, where she developed and implemented methane reduction requirements for upstream oil and gas. She also worked for several years with the Prasino Group, Cap-Op Energy and Penn West Petroleum, where she was involved with developing offset projects, preparing technical documents, protocols, and emission inventories in western Canada.
Cassie holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Alberta and is a registered engineer with the Engineering and Geoscientists of British Columbia
